I undertake to

• comply with the Code of Conduct,
• communicate and promote the rules of conduct within my area of work and responsibility,
• immediately report any suspicions, concerns or incidents to the designated child protection officer.

I will

• help create a safe, respectful and supportive environment for children and young people, both offline and online,
• take the opinions, needs and concerns of children and young people seriously,
• treat all children and young people with respect and appreciation,
• organise activities in a transparent way and avoid unobserved one-to-one situations wherever possible,
• protect the dignity, privacy and personal data of children and young people,
• act responsibly when taking and publishing photos and videos,
• remain alert to possible boundary violations or risks to children and young people,
• actively contribute to the protection of children and young people.

I will never

• misuse my position, role or influence,
• physically punish or humiliate children or young people,
• use physical, psychological, emotional or sexualised violence,
• engage in sexual acts with children or young people,
• expose children or young people to pornographic material,
• use inappropriate, sexualised or degrading language,
• make sexual innuendos or engage in ambiguous behaviour,
• establish relationships that could be understood as exploitative or abusive,
• spend an unreasonable amount of time alone with individual children or young people,
• tolerate discriminatory, dangerous or abusive behaviour,
• ask children or young people for favours that could be understood as exploitative or inappropriate.
